Connecting the Church to the Holyland

At Holy Land MIssions, our ministry includes outreach and charity programs like family counseling, sports, music, and women’s health awareness initiatives. Other projects that have a huge impact on the Arab community in Israel are our Food Distribution, Medical Outreach and Youth Leadership Development initiatives. The fruit of these programs is hope where there has been no hope, hope that is rooted in the love of Jesus. His compassion for all people, expressed in the form of ministry programs and outreach, is winning respect in our Arab-Muslim community-at-large. And the result? Hearts and ears are opening to the gospel and message of peace taught of Jesus Christ.

In addition to some of our other programs, we offer mission trips to those looking to minister alongside us. Not to mention, when you take one of our Holy Land tours, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Israel with its rich history and biblical significance.

Medical Missions

More than 75% of Evangelical Christian Arab families in Israel do not have healthcare coverage. As part of our yearly Medical Mission and Outreach Initiative, we fly in eye specialists and dentists from the United States to help our elderly with cataract surgeries, other eye ailments and dental work. In 2011, our ministry served over 3,000 people.

Youth Leadership Training Program

When they finish high school, many Arab Christian youth settle within a 3-mile radius of their parents’ neighborhoods. Why? Most are completely unprepared and unequipped to enter Israel’s mainstream workforce. This lack of preparation includes a fundamental inability to communicate with Israel’s larger Jewish society. HLM’s Leadership Training Program seeks to give them the skills they need to succeed as they transition into adulthood.

Poverty is one of the biggest challenges Arab Christians will face. Often, many of our parishioners and their neighbors can not afford to buy the food necessary for a healthy diet. As a result, our food program seeks to feed those in Israel who are at risk of going hungry.

HLM Print Shop Ministry

Holy Land Missions actively supports the Printing the World Print Shop Ministry, hosted in Bethlehem. This ministry is responsible for producing thousands of encouraging educational and biblical teachings each year. These materials are given to evangelical participants to distribute among the communities here in the Holy Land. Funds are needed to purchase more supplies like ink, DVD's, and paper stock.

Youth Ministry & Summer Camp

Arab young people are often targeted by those seeking to recruit them into a life of sanctioned violence. These young people are the ones we are trying to reach through our youth ministry, which includes weekly meetings and summer camps. Our programs seek to create a safe space where kids can experience God’s compassion by studying the Bible.

Christian Leadership Training Project

A new generation of Arab Christian leaders and pastors is essential to preventing the dwindling Evangelical church from losing its influence in the Holy Land. This program includes a full team of youth leaders for the next generation that provide necessary services to their communities including biblical counsel and goods distribution, all the while sharing the joy of the Lord with those that they serve.
