Holy Land Missions was founded in 1979 by the Khoury family. Their inspiration for starting the organization can be traced back to the time they spent growing up in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, among the suffering Arab Christian communities, during times of poverty and war.

Today, Holy Land Missions supports the largest evangelical Arab ministries as they follow their calling to serve others in the Holy Land. We are proud that we work through churches, government agencies and other organizations to provide help and hope to those who are impoverished and hurting. Holy Land Missions is equipping those standing on the front lines, who represent Christ's love and forgiveness to a hurting nation.

Our Beliefs:

Non-Replacement  Teachings.Although popular among most other Arab Christian ministries, Holy Land Missions rejects the “Replacement Theology View”. Replacement theology teaches, “The Church is Israel”. It teaches because the nation of Israel did not accept Jesus as Messiah, Israel has been cast off and has forfeited her pre-eminent position in the purposes of God. Therefore, today the “Church” has become the rightful heir to the blessings once promised to Israel. This would allow a person to believe that the Jewish people today are no more significant than any other racial group, whether it be American or Chinese.

However, a “Full-Covenant Theology View” states that God’s everlasting covenants are unchangeable according to scripture. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God never changes; His gifts and callings are irrevocable.

“Thus says the LORD, “If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established, then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and I will have mercy on them.”

Jeremiah 33:25-26

Holy Land Missions rejects “Replacement Theology”, and the political agenda that it can manifest in.  Rather, Holy Land Missions believes that God has a purpose and calling for salvation of all people groups, including the Arab communities in Jerusalem and Palestine, to be grafted into his covenant with mankind. The Christian Arab communities in the Holy Land need extreme prayers and support to stand strong against false teachings in the Holy Land. Holy Land Missions seeks to support these local brothers and sisters in the Lord. We support a non-political agenda of peace in the region.

“For by grace you have been saved, through faith – and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

Ephesians 2:8

Non-Political Agenda. Holy Land Missions as a non-profit,  was founded on Biblical principles that promotes helping the needy, giving compassion to all faith backgrounds, and serving through a message of hope. Holy Land Missions, or it's affiliated churches and ministries, is not a political organization and does not function as such. While HLM has no political agenda, occasionally our leaders are called upon for guidance concerning our opinions and Biblical convictions on the Arab Christian Movement.
